Workshop title: Leaning in to Joy
“Accessing joy or happiness is one of the top 5 desires I hear when working with clients. This makes sense, because joy is a sustainable internal resource you always have available to you.” – Laura Weber
Resources are tools > Tools are leverage > Leverage is powerful
Laura will help us identify and accept that joy is hard to access; however, working with her clients, she’ll share her expertise and experience around things you may be thinking yourself:
- I’m working hard to create joy but still not feeling it
- Joy is great for people who have time for it
- I’m just not wired to feel joy like some people do
- Joy is for hippies
- I’m a serious businessperson – joy and business don’t mix.
Since joy IS an important sustainable resource, we are going to help you connect to joy, exploring:
- What is joy, really?
- Why is it so hard to feel joyful in our lives?
- How do we cultivate joy?
Register now and join us for an afternoon of insight and conversation to feed your soul.
Laura Weber is a leadership coach and consultant, working with various industries, teams and individuals. She roots her technique in authenticity and courage, and views transformation as a set of practices – something we approach and make decisions about each day. Since courage is a hallmark practice for her, she never asks her clients to do something she hasn’t already done or isn't willing to do herself.
Prior to starting her own business, Ms. Weber worked in the financial services industry for over a decade, managing $5-$8 billion product lines and coaching financial advisors through significant product, regulatory and overall business/market change.
