Hello Partners,

Special Guests

8:00am – 8:30am - Networking

8:30am – 8:50am - Long Island Chapter Update and Official Business

In today’s digital world, over 80% of the threats confronting all enterprises come from attacks on their network and application authentication.  But employees are vulnerable to social engineering, and the most widely used method of authentication is over thirty years old and vulnerable.  How did we get to this point and how can we solve this problem?

Join Matt Neuman from Crossmatch to learn about the current state of authentication and what this means for Microsoft partners.

1.       The State of Play in Authentication and Why It Is a Target

2.       Fixing the Problem – The Composite Authentication Approach

3.       How Can Microsoft Partners Benefit?

Matthew Neuman

Matt has spent almost twenty years working with authentication, cybersecurity and biometrics.  He was involved early in the design and implementation of PKI authentication for the US Government HSPD-12 Programs and served as the technical representative for ANSI/ISO committees working on smart card standards.  In addition, Matt has worked with the US Department of Defense on DoD-wide authentication programs.  He has been responsible for commercial enterprise, US Government, and public-sector sales of authentication and cybersecurity software and hardware.

Matt is currently the Vice President Enterprise Security Sales for Crossmatch and responsible for global sales of Digital Persona authentication software.    He holds an undergraduate degree from the George Washington University and an MBA from the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland.
