Speaker Bio:

A longtime entrepreneur and business leader, Laura Peters is the President of International Software Systems, a Southern California-based technology services and consulting firm. International Software Systems serves SMBs in the U.S. and internationally, with a focus on distribution, made-to-order manufacturing, service, EDI, and job costing. Laura previously launched, grew, and sold two bookkeeping businesses.
Laura currently served as the Advocacy Chair of the Southern California (SoCal) chapter of the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP). Additionally, I am on the 2018 VFI Task Force as an Ambassador.  As a tech business leader, I’m participating in VFI to support public policies that help more people and companies access the benefits of IT innovation. I’m also committed to seeing improved broadband and tech education access for all Americans.
 A committed advocate for women’s rights, Laura is an active member of Zonta International, a global service organization dedicated to advancing the status of women worldwide. Since 2014, she has served as the International Chair of Zonta’s Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship program, which provides financial support to outstanding women around the world who are pursuing business-focused education.
